All världens danshus ![]() Dansfest Mix are dance nights with the brilliant idea to let Swedish folk music and dance meet some other kind of music - jazz, rock'n'roll, Argentinian tango... Always two music groups - always music of high quality. The nights start with short courses with dances suitable for the night. Organised by Föreningen Omåttlig Dans.
Food, drink DANCE HOUSE ASSOCIATION IN STOCKHOLM The idea behind the Dance House (Danshuset) is the intimate interplay between dancers and musicians. Here you can dance to folk musicians playing solo or as a duo. The music is mostly Swedish traditional music and sometimes Norwegian.
Free workshop the first hour. DANCE HOUSE OF THE WORLD One Friday a month the Swedish Klezmer Society organises music and dance from Balkan and Eastern Europe (and Klezmer of course). Mostly ring and line dances, guided by an experienced leader and teacher.

On Sunday nights from September to May there is an Open Folk Music House at "Skeppis", no cover charge.
There you can dance polska and gammeldans, sing and play. Those who don't know already can learn, courses from 6pm to 8pm.
Polska Emergency (Polskeakuten) for beginners at 7pm!Once a month there is a Children's Dance House or Tango House. Sometimes Friday night concerts with well-known artists, where there is a cover charge.
Coffee, snacks
Mix musikcafé is a stage for all kinds of music from Sweden and the Nordic countries, from Europe and the world, played by immigrated tradition bearers,
Swedish musicians and visiting groups. An exciting mixture of old and new, well-known and unknown every second Wednesday.The Swedish radio record the Mix concerts and broadcast them on P2 on Thursdays at 7.30pm.

Selam is the city's big world music organiser, and organise:African Night at Jazz Club Fasching let you dance to raï, highlife, afro pop, afro beat, afro reggae, soukous... this vouches for a good night with a taste of Africa. FolkoFolk at Münchenbryggeriet combines live bands, dance shows, workshops and bubbling dance floors withe the latest from the wide map of world music - all under one roof!
